Vaastu By Design is a leader in establishing the standards of the true South Indian Vaastu in America. The founder, Ronald Quinn has been designing and building since 1973. He has studied Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati's work since 1998. He has also studied extensively in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India directly under Dr. Sthapati's personal supervision and guidance.

Ronald has received two certificates in Vaastu from Dr. Sthapati and other prominent Vaastu authorities.

Dr. Sthapati is the most prominent and leading authority of the traditional and historical Vaastu vedic architecture in India. He is one of an ancient and traditional lineage of sthapati's, who have been the keepers of this sacred creation science for many millennia. Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati has designed and constructed world class monuments of the Vaastu tradition, on five continents.

Ronald, following Dr. V. Ganapati Sthapati's lead, has done much to elevate the Vaastu Vedic Science above the superstitious elements which have shrouded this tradition in more recent times. Vastu/Vaastu is now returning to it's rightful position as the most highly evolved spiritual and natural science in global history.

Documents which have been recently rediscovered and are now in the process of translation, reveal that Vaastu has it's roots in an ancient continent, which once existed south of present day India. This continent which suffered floods and continental drifting some 16,000 to 30,000 years ago, was called "Kumeria" in South Indian texts, and has been referred to in more recent times as "Lemuria". Kumerian continent was the home of a highly evolved civilization which has long been lost to history and kept alive only by myth, until recently.

Vaastu By Design practices and works with many of the building standards of the International Institute of Bau-Biologie, now Building Biology (Living Buildings) for optimal health in the building environment. These standards apply naturally to Vaastu architecture and are brought fully into this context.
